In this episode I chat with Yasmin, owner of Boutique Lustre in Montreal, QC. This badass babe is an emotional generator who has been tuning into her sacral's guidance for a long time now. What started out as her mom teaching her how to sew has turned into her owning and operating a boutique where she and her team make clothes that are sustainable and support body positivity. When I was searching for my wedding dress, my wedding coach Carrie-Ann (episode 9 of the podcast) highly recommended Boutique Lustre. And after going into lots of shops in Montreal and Toronto, and trying on what felt like a hundred dresses, Lustre was the winner. When I went back for a second visit to try on the two dresses that I loved I ended up choosing a third one that I loved even more. It was comfortable, it was beautiful, and more importantly it was me. Yasmin says that Lustre changes as much as she does. She believes that clothes should be made to fit bodies, not the other way around. And I couldn't agree more. So if you're looking to get out purchasing fast fashion and wanting to support an ethical business I highly recommend starting with a piece that is made with so much love by Yasmin and her team at Lustre.
