The foundational text was taken from Second Timothy chapter one verses six and seven which reads, " Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

This sermon is preached by visiting Pastor, Pastor Mervin Lloyd from the island of Dominica August 13, 2023. The title of the teaching is "The Presence and Power of the Holy Spirit in the Life of the Believer." There were two scriptures that was highlighted in the introduction of the sermon. John chapter sixteen verse one reads (English Standard Version), "I have said all these things to you to keep you from falling away." The King James Version states it this way, "These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended." The other scripture is John 16 verse 16 which states (English Standard Version), "A little while, and you will see me no longer; and again a little while, and you will see me."

This sermon was preached on Sunday, August 6, 2023, by Reverend Simon Thomas Sr. The teaching was entitled, "The Power of Reconciliation with the foundational scripture taken from 2 Corinthians 5 verses 17 through 21 with the focus on verses 17 and 21 which reads: "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." (KJV)
