Ghost Rider set a President's Day weekend record while Bridge to Terabithia also exceeded expectations. Music and Lyrics, Daddy's Little Girls and Breach also opened, plus a look at next week's releases and the Academy Awards on Sunday.

Eddie Murphy tops the box office this weekend with Norbit while Hannibal Rising opens in second place, plus a look at the upcoming week's releases including Music and Lyrics and Daddy's Little Girls and Valentine's Day as well as Ghost Rider, Breach and Bridge to Terabithia on Friday.

The Messengers and Because I Said So open against the Super Bowl, plus a look at the Super Bowl movie ads and the continuing Oscar season. Next weekend Hannibal Rising and Norbit open.

Epic Movie, Smokin' Aces, Catch and Release and Blood and Chocolate open this weekend, plus a look the Academy Award nominations and the Oscar box office effect. In addition, next weekend two movies dare to open against the Super Bowl.

Apocalypto, The Holiday, Blood Diamond and Unaccompanied Minors open, while overall business was down significantly over last year, plus a look at next week's releases: Charlotte's Web, Eragon and The Pursuit of Happyness.

Happy Feet and Casino Royale top the box office for the third week in a row, while The Nativity Story opens in fourth place. Turstias and Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj also open, plus a look at four wide releases next weekend, including Blood Diamond and The Holiday.
