Today I'll be going over my ranked list of movies I've seen in 2025 so far. Take ranked list with a grain of salt this is my own personal preference and is subject to change and I don't watch a ton of movies I don't like. Like I said in the episode as well I'll be looping back to this at the end of the year and putting out a completed 2025 list with some movies maybe changing positions.

Thought it would be fun to go over what I haven't made episodes for yet and quickly recap ones that I have. Enjoy thank you all for listening!

Me? I'm nobody. Can relate Bob, today we are looking at an interesting action movie blending the John Wick style action with an aged protagonist in Bob Odenkirk in more of a "Taken" like plot structure. An interesting blend that I talk about and as always read reviews as well in the second half. Enjoy!

In today's episode I take on Weapons the new horror thriller from Barbarian director Zach Cregger. Along with my thoughts and review I choose reviews from the Letterboxd platform to lend the opinion of the masses and to fully circle my own thoughts. Do we need to know all the lore?? It's a great question to ask in this day in age in horror. Enjoy!

I tackle The Naked Gun first film in the original Leslie Nielsen trilogy. A feat of comedic genius and I promise all the reviews I read aren't just quotes from an endlessly quotable movie.

Boxd Up is a review/discussion show of movies of new and old. I lend my own thoughts and opinions in tandem with reading Letterboxd user reviews to get a perspective from the masses. Enjoy!

I dive into Ari Aster's contemporary nightmare with Eddington. Eddington is a modern western with 2020 Covid being the canvas for a duel between a small town sheriff and Mayor of Eddington seeking reelection.  Boxd Up is a review/discussion show where I talk movies of new and old along with reading Letterboxd reviews to also get the viewpoints of the masses.

When will there ever be a more perfect time to revisit the original Fantastic Four film than right now?! With a new Fantastic Four coming I look back on a critically panned superhero movie from 20 years ago. Can't all be winners, but is it really that bad? Everyone is hot so who cares right?!
