Got a chance to see a screening of this in the Crest Theater in Sacramento not long after Neill's passing. Figured it would be a good time to talk about a slightly underrated film and performance from him and Carpenter. 

Also shouts to revisiting movies for a second time and not letting expectations skew your opinion when you first see something which is definitely what happened to me with this one. Have a laugh as we all embrace oblivion together.

Dinosaurs are here! Also some unexpected sincere 80's family dynamics did I just get transported back to the Spielberg suburban family era? This was indeed a good time and if you have an itch for dinos and don't want to watch whatever the latest jurtrashic park film give this a chance :).

Hello! I saw the Odyssey in 70mm IMAX. I'm lucky enough to have a theater that can project it close by me and I'll be back with a new movie on Monday! Hope you all enjoy listening to my experience with this format!

Based on the title you'd probably think I hated this movie and I didn't, but I definitely agree with what a lot of people had to say about the movies message and its undertones. Listen and see!

Revisiting Insidious was better than I was expecting to be honest and I think does things in a more refreshing way than the Conjuring franchise has done. I'll see if that success is really limited to this first entry, but this early 2010s horror was definitely an era.

Welcome to a Brand New Day something that marvel desperately needs and this definitely delivers on that front. A movie not without flaws but most definitely the best thing the MCU has put out in a few years and it's not close.

As promised since basically nothing came out this week I have a film rankings episode for you all. This was actually a pretty tough list for me to make and it's a blend of my personal taste with what I think each film did for Nolan in getting his career to the point we are at now.

List is in ascending order from 12 to 1 I know Nolan has 13 films, but I excluded Following because I did not see it before making the list. Thank you all for listening and enjoy!

Hello! Like I said if I saw the Invite at any other specific point in my life I don't think I would've related to it as much, but still would've really liked it. Here we are though sometimes art comes at the right place at the right time to a point where this movie definitely drove up my anxiety at times.
