BOXING 4 FREE

Andrew has a strict warning for any UFC fighters who keep bringing up Floyd Mayweather.  Roy Jones Junior has an opponent for his exhibition in less than two weeks, but questions remain to be answered.  All that plus more!

Boxing writer Andrew Schweitzer discusses some of the news, drama and even gossip going on lately in the professional boxing scene including Roy Jones Jr. & a reality TV contest, Manny Pacquiao pissing-off a vocal group of people, and Bernard Hopkins wants another fight with arguably the best fighter out there...  And Looney Tunes!  *contest mentioned in the episode does not exist*

in their rematch and also examines some bizarre behavior during the

post-fight interview. And speaking of bizarre, have you heard about Saul Canelo versus Amir Khan?  Obviously you have, but listen to what Andrew has to say about it.

Andrew has a special challenge to listeners of this podcast to help him

come up with the perfect parody song.  Listen for details!

Andrew returns from his self-imposed hiatus and reports on the growing

excitement in the heavyweight division.  There's also a fire building in

the welterweight division, but what does Andrew want these fighters to

stop doing?  Is Andrew excited about Manny Pacquiao vs Tim Bradley for the third time?   Listen and find out.

Andrew brings you his final podcast ever...of 2015.  He goes over Wladimir Klitschko's shocking loss to Tyson Fury; Daniel Jacobs quick work over Peter Quillin and reviews Creed.   And if you haven't seen this film, Andrew SPOILS it, gives away the ENTIRE plot and ending.  So fair warning. Oh and do you need some last minute shopping tips?  Andrew's got your back.

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez took a big step forward by defeating Miguel Cotto, but could he be taking two steps back trying to make a fight with Gennady Golovkin aka GGG?  Why is Oscar de la Hoya going back on his word?  Tyson Fury challenges Wladimir Klitschko this weekend, who is Andrew picking?

Andrew spends some time talking about a UFC fight from this

past weekend (a boxing program primarily devoted to boxing covering a

different sport?  What blasphemy is this). Oscar de la Hoya lands some hard jabs on Floyd Mayweather in Playboy magazine.  Andre Ward isn't in a huge hurry for a fight with Sergey Kovalev, does Andrew actually have a tactic to make this big fight even bigger?  And can Miguel Cotto be any more boring in his Face-Off with Canelo Alvarez?

Probably, but let's hope we don't find out.  And what is our host's

prediction for this upcoming super-fight?  Listen and find out.

Andrew goes over Tim Bradley's knockout & eventual retirement of Brandon Rios and the new lines of motivation from Teddy Atlas.  Is Ring Magazine

doing the right thing having someone not even associated with boxing on

the cover of their magazine?   And Andrew goes over the first episode

of 'Cotto-Canelo: 24/7' and introduces a new game to play while watching.  Are you brave enough to play along?  Listen and find out...
