BoxingInsider Radio is back after a LONG hiatus. In the last few months we transitioned this company from media outlet to a small boxing promotional company. We are getting ready to promote our 3rd pro show Feb 23rd at Sony Hall and wanted to discuss some of what goes into putting on a boxing show.

Larry Goldberg, now a licensed promoter in NY State, is joined by Jose Guzman, a former professional boxer and top trainer and they discuss BoxingInsider Promotions. 

Kathy Duva has been one of the top promoters in boxing for many years promoting some of the biggest names in the sport.

Kathy pulled no punches talking about being a female promoter in a male dominated sport and dealing with sexism from some of the top power brokers.

Heather Hardy also joined us and broke down Taylor - Serrano and shared her insight on what this fight means for the sport and for women. 

On April 28 in NYC boxinginsider.com promoted (hosted) a USA Boxing Metro sanctioned Golden Glove Qualifier event from the packed the world famous Sony Hall.

Henry Deleon and Heather Hardy discuss with Larry Goldberg what went right and wrong and what we need to change for the next show. We pull back the curtain and talk about the nuts and bolts of promoting our first event.  

Amatuer sports has always been about trying new things and having a chance to  experiance sucess and failure.

 So when Boxinginsider.com was given an oppertunity to "host" one of the Ringmaster Golden Glove qualifier events effectively  "promoting" its first boxing card (on April 28 at Sony Hall In NYC). We jumped at the offer.

Journalist Charles Jay comes on to give us some pointers and explain the signifigance of promoting our first show at Sony Hall.
