Emergency services have rescued an 8 year old boy who fell into a trench in Jandabup which is in the City of Wanneroo. The incident occurred about 4pm and it took a few hours to rescue the boy who is understood to have been trapped up to his waist in sand. It is understood the boy has non-life threatening injuries and has been taken to hospital. Senior Journalist at Channel 7 Geof Parry spoke to Harvey Deegan.
