Boy Stories

Tom reads "Sanderson the Fox," a story about Jeffrey's meeting with a special new friend in the woods behind his school. The Boy Stories podcast features read-aloud stories from four collections of short stories about fifth grade boys and their teacher, Mr. L, all read by the author with exclusive character interviews. Thanks for listening!

And... The Yellow Book of Stories is here! Each Boy Stories collection has a theme, and the theme of Yellow Book is creativity. Crazy weird boy creativity, from renaissance paintings to youtube videos, from financial schemes to fancy parties, from fantasy epics to mad-scientist experiments... and, of course, the most hardcore and legendary fifth grade rock band ever. These short stories are guaranteed to make you laugh.

The Yellow Book of Stories is here! This book’s been three years in the writing and I think it has the funniest/best stories so far. But. I’m a little biased. So I asked Jeffrey on the podcast to offer his honest and way less biased feedback about the book. As usual, he had a few notes.

Tom reads Chapter Two - Mr L Meets a Zombie from Jeffrey's new novel. Make sure to start with Chapter One!

From Jeffrey: I wrote this super interesting and cool novel about Mr L, so that he can publish it and become famous and rich. That way, all peoples everywhere will know what a cool and smart teacher he is. Mr Tom is helping me by reading the book on his podcast. I hope you like it and it makes you smile and cry a little bit, but not a lot, just a little because you're really happy. I chose a cool cover with blue because blue is my favorite color and this blue is epic like space, which is in the novel. Thank you for listening and I love you.

From Tom: Jeffrey wrote this story after interviewing Mr L about his upcoming novel (See Season Three, Episode 11). I'll be reading Jeffrey's novel in chapter installments, and I'll be hearing it for the first time just like you! Hope you enjoy, let us know what you think!
