On today's 'BradCast':  Donald Trump is trying to outdo George Orwell's '1984', but he and the Republicans simply can't lie the coronavirus away, as the death toll from COVID-19 surges past 75,000.  But they are going to try:  in Arizona, as AZ Republican Gov. Doug Ducey lifted stay-at-home restrictions, the state Health Department ordered infectious disease modeling experts to halt their work after potential models produced by the team showed that reopening businesses before the end of May would lead to a dramatic increase in infections and deaths. But Ducey wants them open now, so the Health Department shut down the state's independent team and says it is using secret, non-public modeling from FEMA and the CDC. Donald Trump and senior aides are now planning to publicly question the death toll that daily contradicts Trump's repeated lies about the pandemic. The Trump Administration has blocked the release of an official CDC guidance report intended to help local officials reopen businesses safely, because Trump wants to open the economy fast to help his re-election campaign regardless of how many Americans die because of it. In Colorado, newly leaked audio reveals that Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO), the state Republican Party Chair, ordered another party official to falsify an affidavit in order to place a Republican candidate for state Senate on the state's upcoming primary ballot – which is a crime. Buck is a Tea Party right-winger and former District Attorney who should resign from Congress and be disbarred. Plus: potentially historic snowstorm forecast to pummel parts of the Northeast this weekend as record heat hits the Southwest. And Desi Doyen has our latest 'Green News Report'...
