What can a 17-year-old do to solve a real community problem? In Brady Zeck’s case, he built a nonprofit that’s helping animal rescues get the supplies—and transportation—they desperately need.
Brady Zeck is the founder of Trucks for Pups, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing and transporting dogs in need while supporting animal welfare groups across DFW and beyond. What began as a simple idea at school has grown into a network of more than 300 volunteers providing free labor, logistics, donations, and funding to partner organizations.
In this episode, Brady shares:
- How Trucks for Pups sources and transports donated supplies for local rescues
- Why transportation is often the biggest obstacle for animal organizations
- What he learned managing traffic at a spay and neuter clinic that served 800+ cars in one day
- The $100,000 fundraising goal to support 20 different charities
