“With the realization of one’s own potential and self-confidence in one’s ability one can build a better world” Everyone needs to believe in something, and I think if you don’t believe in yourself, how can you inspire others? How can you realize your ambitions? How can you fulfill your dreams, and how can you reach your full potential? Self-belief is the source of all positivity. If you believe in yourself and what you are doing, it’s contagious. Those around you will pick up on the vibe and seek to emulate your focused and driven mindset—because a confident person is a person who gets things done. Self-belief is almost like a superpower. It can overcome any obstacle, knock down any door, and solve any problem. It’s the rock I cling to which can weather any storm and the one game-changer which you need in your locker. When you have faith in yourself, you’ll be surprised at your capabilities. The great news is, only you and you alone have the power and the key to unlock your true potential and transform your life. With a little self-belief, big things can happen.
The first step in reinventing yourself is self-understanding. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What do you feel is missing in your life? Where are you falling short? Once you have a clear sense of what you want to achieve, it’s time to start setting easy and manageable goals. Be clear and realistic about how long these will take to achieve—whether it’s a day, a year, or several years. Prioritize these goals according to importance. By taking a big dream and dividing it down into achievable milestones, you are more likely to succeed—and less likely to feel overwhelmed. Plus, your body releases dopamine each time you achieve something, no matter how small. This pleasurable feeling will keep you motivated and focused in the long-term. Track your achievements as you go along to stay motivated. This will also allow you to see patterns. Where do you frequently experience setbacks? What are you consistently doing wrong? What could help you get back on track? Surround yourself with people who motivate and believe in you. Social networking, especially professionally, can be inspiring, and help you to keep your eye on the prize. Perhaps consider a mentor, or at least a role model. Someone who you look up to and who can guide your decisions. Reading a lot of books is similar to mentorship. You can draw on the insights of some of history’s greatest minds and vicariously experience the successes and failures of others through fiction and autobiographies.
All those who pursued their passion, irrespective of the outcome, probably have no regrets in life as it was the path they alone chose, driven by their inner calling. Will walking the path of passion help us make a guzara (living)? Will that make us enjoy a glass of bubbly and sleep under our own roof? The answers to the questions are—a ‘definite yes’, ‘maybe’ and ‘no’. Passion alone does not help. It has to be welded with extensive planning and preparedness to be on the path of success. For the former is the road plan while the latter relates to our state of mind towards the work and the result. The drive that comes from passion fuels not just our effort but also helps us in not getting daunted by failures and slow starts. If you’re working on a full-time job, you will be able to follow your passion for a considerable amount of time each day or for a few hours every week. With time, as the passion gets a life of its own and is able to give you the returns, one can plan for the future in a more balanced manner
Choose a job you love, and you'll never have to work a day in your life. Pretty good advice, right? Of course this expression doesn’t mean that you will literally never work a day in your life. Rather it implies that when you love your work, it feels like a choice more than a burden. On the whole, it adds value and meaning to your life, and fills your soul rather than saps it of vitality.
I believe, everything is possible if you have the mindset and the will and desire to do it and put the time in. To all the other dreamers out there, don't ever stop or let the world's negativity disenchant you or your spirit. If you surround yourself with love and the right people. Anything is Possible. || Be Strong || Be Fearless || Be Beautiful ||
Is it not a good idea to stop bargaining and fighting for small amount of money from various people we deal with in our day-to-day life? Have you ever thought how much difference will an extra 5 rupees make to you and how much difference will it make to a Vegetable Vendor, Carpenter, House Maid or a Rickshaw Puller? Fruit and Vegetable Vendors are part of the “POOR” community, having to sell under the hot, burning sun, trying to talk to passersby into buying their stock. At the end of the day, what they earn is not even enough to feed themselves and their families. We are all aware of their way of life, but still, we bargain with them until they have nothing to earn from their sales. Why do we not bargain with malls and other rich man’s stalls? Why do we only bargain with poor people who have little to earn from their sales? Do think about it. “I prefer to pay the labor and people around me a bit better than to do charity. This way I directly see the impact on their lives and their faith that they can earn a decent living with honest work. That is the best way to help the society.”
Being more conscious about your actions, words and thoughts is essential. Learning to pay attention to how you speak to yourself and others, how you reacts in situations, and what makes you feel happy and successful are important. Embracing new things, taking small risks, and practicing your new mindset everyday will be crucial. Stick with your hard work because change is difficult. But it is worth it in the end when your new growth mindset can help you reach your goals and realize your full potential. Remember why you chose this path and the reasons you have decided to adopt a new way of thinking.
According to Confucius(a Chinese Philosopher), “Life is really simple but we insist on making it complicated.” When you simplify, you’re left with a life filled with meaning, a life that is lived on your own terms. You have the time and space to pursue your interests and to create the life you truly desire. It is often in the most simple things that we find true happiness. Keep your life simple, build a budget and stick to it faithfully. Living a simple lifestyle allows you see the reality of the situation more easily. By focusing on what’s most important, your stress levels will be lower and your health will benefit. Stress can affect your mood, blood pressure, and mental health, just to name a few. People who live simple life focus on their health and watch carefully what they put inside their bodies. They care about the future enough that they do not to abuse it in the present. It’s easier to focus on the other person when your life is simpler. The interaction is also sincerer, since you’re free of the need to impress them. Choose people in your life whom you can really trust. The more things you own, the more responsibilities you have, the more you need to service your ego, and the less freedom you enjoy.
