Delighted to have on the podcast, Colin MacLachlan. Colin joined The Royal Scots at the age of 15 and has done a number of military tours around the world before joining the SAS at the age of 23. Colin tells us his part he played in the team who raided Saddam Hussein's palace. We hear how it was inside. He also shares a grueling story of what it was like to be held captive in war with a enemy weapon at your head hoping someone would find and rescue you.
He shares his story of where he went after the military and the amazing work his charity 'who dares cares' is doing to help veterans and blue light service personnel through troubled times.
He gives us some tips on how to stay strong during lockdown and how you can get involved in the charity work with no military experience at all.
