This week we learned a new game. Our friend Trevor Mares taught us For the Queen from Evil Hat Production.
The land you live in has been at war for as long as any of you have been alive. The Queen has decided to undertake a long and perilous journey to Broker an Alliance with a distant power. The Queen has chosen you, and only you, to be her retinue, and accompany her on this journey. She chose you because she knows that you love her. A tale of love. A land in peril. For the Queen is a card-based story-building Game that you and up to five other players can begin playing in minutes. Choose your Queen from among fourteen gorgeously varied illustrations—or start from scratching use the prompt cards to collaboratively tell a story of love, betrayal, doubt, and devotion.
This game was really great to get you into a mini rpg and coming up with things right on the spot. We’d recommend it!

Our first movie episode since WWS! We really love both of these movies for their own reasons. They are great stand alones but also fit really well together in the Knives Out universe.
IMDB deets:
Knives Out and Glass Onion a Knives Out Mystery

In our Dark version play of thru of King of Tokyo, Gigazar and the Kraken go head to head to see who is the King (or Queen) of Tokyo.
From Boardgamegeek.com - In King of Tokyo, you play mutant monsters, gigantic robots, and strange aliens—all of whom are destroying Tokyo and whacking each other in order to become the one and only King of Tokyo.
At the start of each turn, you roll six dice, which show the following six symbols: 1, 2, or 3 Victory Points, Energy, Heal, and Attack. Over three successive throws, choose whether to keep or discard each die in order to win victory points, gain energy, restore health, or attack other players into understanding that Tokyo is YOUR territory.
