In 2013, Prof Wasay ( Chair, Public awareness and advocacy, World Federation of Neurology 2013-2018) and my self were having a cup of coffee in the middle of a break during the World Congress Neurology Vienna. " Brain disorders are the leading cause of disability globally with truble accessing quality neurology by our patients. We must adavocate for change. How come there is no World Brain Day to promote advocacy for awareness, education, research and service building globally. Through the commitee, then the WFN leadership, this became a reallity.

The human brain ( our brains make us so unique as human beings. Brain is everything!). The human brain consists of roughly about 100 billion elctrical wires packed together inside our skull, these are known as neurones-axons (nerves) . If some one to line these wires along a straightline, he or she will would need to travel around our earth four times at least! These nerves talk to each others through ten trillion connections. These connections are chemical connections. This is the most sophisticated computer in the world.
