Our ninth episode of Brainwaves is in the books, and tonight we were happy to have on a really unique guest in retired N.Y.P.D. Sergeant Ralph Sarchie. From what I understand, there were a few server issues here and there, but fear not… our recording is full length with no screw-ups. Take that, powers-that-be!

Sarchie is an enigma. Here’s one of the most no bullshit guys you could ever meet working actively in the field of the paranormal, where he applies many of the techniques taught to him over the years to help save people’s lives in a different way. Sarchie’s life is divided between two very different worlds. In one he’s a decorated Sergeant for the N.Y.P.D. who proudly protected and served his city for over 18 years. In the other he’s a highly regarded demonologist, helping real American families who fear they may be threatened by the demonic. His book, Beware the Night, details how he uses his cop-hardened savvy to combat supernatural evil at every turn and served as the inspiration for the 2014 movie Deliver Us from Evil.

In what was perhaps our most frightening show to date, Brainwaves was honored to have been able to celebrate the life and legacy of paranormal investigator Lou Gentile. Join us; Lou’s wife, Antoinette Gentile; and his former investigative partner, Ed Harty, as we share stories and even put Lou on the air for the first time since he was taken from us.

There’s equal parts laughs, tears, scares, and insights in this truly compelling edition filled with things that go bump in the night and the voices of demons… and the dead. Listen with the lights on.
