Beth explains why she chose this episode out of the many others. We discuss how this show was progressive for its time in the early 1970s, specifically with Mrs. Slocombe and Mr. Humphries, but how it doesn’t hold up, mostly because of the sexism and racism. Lastly, we chat about how obsolete Mr. Peacock’s job is as a floor walker who directs customers to either department though he acts all pompous.
