The story of the Old Testament prophet Jonah, teaches us that we all stumble but God rescues us. No matter how many steps you take away from God, it still only takes one to get back.

Gideon teaches us that courageous people rely on God and not themselves. God is not looking for your strength, bravery or abilities; He wants your reliance on Him! This message looks at 2 reasons why you can rely on God.

Do you ever feel like God couldn’t possibly love you? Courageous people forget the past, forgive themselves and begin again. Rahab's story is a story of grace, redemption and new beginnings. This message relates the salvation of Rahab to a Christian's salvation experience.

God called Joshua after Moses' death. Joshua is overwhelmed with the task and responsibility he was given by God. In God's commission to Joshua, God stresses 3 important things. God's words of focus and encouragement helped Joshua to be "strong and courageous" in leading the children of Israel to conquer the Promised Land.

"Yes" was not Moses’ first answer to God. In Exodus 3 & 4, Moses gave God 5 excuses but ultimately told God yes. Courageous people ultimately tell God yes. Why? Because God cannot use your no.
