God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in Him. When we put God as first in our lives instead of the countless idols we often pursue, we truly have hope in the middle of the storms.

While we have many tools available to us for building a solid foundation, some of them come unexpectedly. The idea of fasting as a way to build strength seems backwards. Then again, much of Jesus’ teachings turn what makes sense to us, on its head.

To build a foundation that can withstand the storms we will inevitably face we need tools. Thankfully in our modern age we have more tools at our disposal than any time in history. But what good is a tool if we don’t know how to use it or leave it in a drawer or hung up in a shop? This week we are discovering how to properly use one of the best tools we have to effectively prepare for the storm.

This week we are looking at how we can begin building a foundation that can withstand the storm. Communication is key, but oftentimes talking to God can seem weird or intimidating. Join us this week as we explore what prayer is all about.

We know that life is full of ups and downs, yet often we are caught off-guard when difficulties come our way. If the storms of life are guaranteed, why not be prepared? This series we are discovering how we can be equipped to face any storm.
