Only God can give us the peace and joy we need. But we have to trust in him and rejoice in the Lord always

Everything else this world has to offer pales in comparison to the Joy to be found in Jesus.

One of the biggest problems in our society today is fatherlessness. Fatherlessness contributes to so many social ills. But God has given fathers to point their children to Him. Fathers can be difference makers.

We can never be good enough to make it to heaven, but Jesus offers us His righteousness.

And if we can trust Jesus for our salvation then we can trust him for our current situation.

What can bring us the most joy in this life and for all eternity?

Answer: Seeing people come to know Jesus because we pointed people to Jesus.

When we live humble and sacrificial lives for the good of others and for the glory of God the church can experience true unity and God can use us for something great.

     We like to criticize.. We look in and without all the answers we make judgment calls.  ILL: man driving through red light…might be trying to save a life…not just a jerk.

     Proverbs 18:13

-Forgive First …

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

-Realize your own flaws …

Luke 6:42

Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

-Mentality of Jesus … here to serve. 

Phil 2…have the mindset of Christ…talk about on sunday.  

Learn to think about others the way JESUS thinks about them…think of your life the way Jesus thought of his life.
