It typically goes like this - intro, top stories, more in-depth content, finance, sport, weather, feel-good story and then an outro. THIS is how we want to produce our podcasts and draw those parallels to the news, in a structure that our audience becomes custom to.
Because our listeners are going to have an expectation to hear the same great stuff, time and time again. Especially in a format that feels familiar, recognisable and consistent during their listening experience.
