Brandon & Belli's: Thoughts on Things (BBT)

The pressure on the youth of today is real. Employment happens to be one of them, and a 'kerfuffle' it has been indeed for the longest of time. "Professional" youth advocate, Jane Chen, a friend from Belli's days at uni has come to join us on this real talk episode. 

Coffee. Poached Eggs. Ambiance. Or as Brandon would say, "overpriced". Joined by two of our lovely friends named Amanda (one's a chef, one just absolutely LOVES food), we talk about BRUNCH. You have to, really, living in Melbourne and all.

A career in music. Our parents could never. But a friend of Brandon's, all the way from Malaysia did and has come to share what it's like, now being a major rep of the Malaysian music industry through her girl group, DOLLA. *new single sneak peek sshhh*

The complexity and beauty of architecture often leave us speechless or is pretty much left unspoken. Joined by our two super passionate archi-studying friends, we definitely learned A LOT this episode. Also, transparent toilets are a thing.

“Ms. Worldwide”. Belli’s Australian South African-Filipino; grew up all over Asia friend comes to share the highs and lows of having a multiethnic background. The international school camaraderie is real y’all.

We love going to the cinemas. We miss it. Two of some of our most avid movie-appreciating friends join us on this episode to share their love of the art, and “great” is a word we use a lot to show it. From Tenet, to foreign films Brandon and Belli can’t pronounce, and meeting random “big” names - we’re here to share!

Our first ever guest! We’re joined by a friend from Belli’s past who’s got things to share about working for big companies, getting in on that internship life, and almost meeting Elon Musk. Also, a bit of life advice for our fellow uni students!

First episode, wow. We talked a little bit about the two of us and a whole lot more on why and how this podcast came to be. (We unfortunately didn’t talk about bubble tea, but it does get a quick shoutout). Can’t help but also talk about our love of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, being on lockdown, and how amazed we are at all the passion projects coming to be.
