In this episode we had the pleasure of sitting down with Simon Quirk, the Co-Founder and CEO of one of Australia's fastest growing video learning and assessment platform, VidVersity. Simon has had extensive experience in the legal and tech space and has co-founded and been a part of several start-ups. Simon's background has taken him all over the world and after a high-profile career in law in the UK, he caught the entrepreneurial bug and has been working with start-ups ever since.

Simon shared with us how video is growing as a channel and medium and how his passion for improving the learning process has spawned VidVersity. Beyond this we discussed how corporate businesses and professional services firms are partnering with start-ups to co-create solutions to problems. In this episode we had the pleasure of sitting down with the amazing technologist Kathy Reid. Kathy shared with us her thoughts and predictions on the rapidly growing space of Voice technology, the important role speech can play and where this space will likely explode in the future. Kathy and I talked about how voice will be able to greatly assist business and learning and provide a means for people to better complete tasks in parallel, whilst minimising distractions. With driving and texting being a great example of how speech can improve this distracting process of doing 2 things at once, not to mention the abilities this technology will replace for people who may lose their speech as a result of illness and rely on this technology to carry on speaking.
