In week three of our series through Galatians, we walked through Galatians 3:15–29 and talked about the purpose of the law and the promise God made long before it. Paul explains that the law was never meant to replace God’s promise—it pointed us to our need for Jesus. Because of Jesus, we are no longer striving for perfection under a set of rules. Instead, we are invited to trust in God’s promises rather than our performance. Our standing with God isn’t based on what we can achieve, but on what Christ has already done for us.
