On this episode of the podcast I got to talk about one of my favorite subjects: LOVE.

As much as I enjoy giving advice and sharing my opinion, I wanted to talk about relationships with two people who are in one.

Ariel Jackson is a renaissance woman dabbling in makeup, modeling, art and entrepreneurship. She is the creator behind @urbanrenaccess where she makes beautiful earrings, waistbeads and other accessories. Her artistry spans singing, dancing and painting and you can see her in action on her personal page @1mermaidbabe

Patrick Mitchell played basketball for most of his life even going semi-pro. But like Ariel he is an artist at heart not to mention a father and visionary. Together with his partner Ariel they formed @urbanrenalliance to showcase their art and provide a platform for other artists to do the same.

On this episode the two share their love story, the ups and downs and offer some advice for how to maintain a healthy relationship with one's self while also being a competent and loving partner. Darryl Robertson is a journalist former staff writer at VIBE Magazine. His work has appeared in XXL, Billboard, and Ebony magazines; Salon, Don Diva, and the Washington Post to name a few. He is a Mississippi native now living in Harlem; a devout Nas fan and student of hip hop culture. Currently Darryl is a graduate student at Columbia University, pursuing a Ph.D. in U.S. history.

When you respect yourself you gain the admiration and respect of others. That is what this episode is all about.

More than just a basketball trainer Teohn Conner is really a no nonsense undercover life coach pushing you towards the greatest version of yourself. This is of course, whether you ask him to or not. It's just what he does. When he started to pivot in his own life he was hit with another blow: COVID. But his faith in God and in himself has allowed him to continue to flourish doing what he loves. he started E.A.T. Sports Foundation which stands for Educate, Aspire, Triumph to bridge the gap between skill and opportunity.

Brandon Varnado is my brother but also a man of any talents. He reluctantly became the co-host of High Score 510 Podcast after realizing his busy schedule didn't allow him to see his friends as often as he'd like. And after getting furloughed from his job as a behavior analyst due to COVID, he has welcomed the role of stay at home dad and budding entrepreneur.
