Week 5 of 6, Matt Ousdahl. Psalm 101. We face tremendous pressure when it comes to standing up for our faith. Pursuing a life that honors God means making a commitment to that lifestyle and not allowing other people to become obstacles along the way. Matt O gives insight into what it looks like to strive for a God-centered life in the midst of a world that is anything but focused on God.

Week 4 of 6, Jay Parry. Psalm 22. There are times in our lives when God feels far away or when our prayers seem to “bounce off the ceiling.” We all have experienced times like this; David certainly did. But we can still find encouragement. Even though God may seem far away, He is still God and is still present. And God has a track record of remaining faithful.

Week 3 of 6, Katy McGrath. Psalm 51. We are all enemies of God because of our sin, but because of God’s great love, we can experience a restored relationship through Christ. Yet sin is something we must still contend with, because of our sin nature. Katy helps the group understand how they can approach God in dealing with their sin and how they can move forward in repenting of sin.

Week 2 of 6, Matt Ousdahl. Psalm 30. Matt O builds on ideas introduced in the previous week. When we turn to God with our prayers and God responds, how do we respond? The proper response is to praise God and give God thanks for answering a prayer, a need, or a concern—or for providing comfort during a difficult situation.

Week 1 of 6, Jay Parry. Psalm 3. “Drama” seems like an almost inevitable part of our experience, and while much of this drama is “normal” and relatively harmless, some is more sinister. What do we do when it seems like everyone is against us? Who do we turn to when friendships sour? Psalms 3 helps us understand what it means to turn to God when it feels like everyone else has turned against us.

Week 3 of 3. Pastor Matthew wraps up the series on first and second Kings by looking at the pattern of failure in all of Israel's kings, with a particular look at the final king. And yet, 2 Kings ends with hope for the coming Savior!

Week 2 of 3. Pastor Matthew looks at the first 11 chapters of 1 Kings and talks about Solomon's sad story of failure and its warning to believers today.

3 of 3, Student Ministry Retreat. Matt Ousdahl closes out the retreat, sharing three (difficult) steps for how we can be rad for God in our lives. Through knowing our purpose, understanding His grace, and obeying His commands, we can live the life He meant for us!
