CELTIC SHOWED their increasing maturity in Europe once again last night as they put in a brave perfomance against Champions League big hitters Bayern Munich.

As expected the Germans had the majority of possession for large spells - especially inthe first half - but Brendan Rodgers' side showed great character to fight back from two goals down to keep themselves in with at least a slim chance in Munich next week.

Daizen Maeda's red hot form continues and the Japanese front man showed once again that he was the man for the big occasion by grabbing our all important goal on the night.
