Recap: 46: Pushing Upwards I
http://wengu.tartarie.com/wg/wengu.php?l=Yijing&no=46
I couldn't shake the feeling that i am missing something in regards to Hexagram 46. If you've watched my previous video on the matter then you will have the synopsis of this reading that i did for my friend regarding his parent's suddenly detaching from their business life and coming back to the family life (at the disgust of the kids LOL).
For a week and a half after making the first video i remained confounded with this Hexagram. Something in my understanding just didn't add up. So i ponder and ponder.
There are five Hexagrams in the Yi that speak of moving forward:
"Difficulty In The Beginning" http://wengu.tartarie.com/wg/wengu.php?l=Yijing&no=3"Pursuit"/"Following" http://wengu.tartarie.com/wg/wengu.php?l=Yijing&no=17"Advance"/"Progress" http://wengu.tartarie.com/wg/wengu.php?l=Yijing&no=35"Development"/"Gradual Progress" http://wengu.tartarie.com/wg/wengu.php?l=Yijing&no=53and of course Hexagram 46.
They all speak of moving forward but in different gradients.
What make's Hexagram 46 so different? I touch upon my epiphanies, matching to the circumstance of my friend's family situation.
Hexagram 46 is a very spiritual Hexagram. The Diviners of Antiquity must have been alluding to something greater than the forward motion dictated by the physical, foreseeable, plan-able or even the obstruct-able.
My rudimentary interpretations of each line
Top Line - Six/Yin at the Top: "You enter into the unknown, beyond your anticipation or expecation. Keep walking the path and do not falter."
Fifth Line - Six/Yin in the Fifth: "Your path leads you higher and higher. Continuation favourable."
Fourth Line - Six/Yin in the Fourth: "You are bequeathed a renewed station and purpose. Step up to the occasion and honour this with a gift of your own. Equivalent Exchange is required. No trouble.
Third Line - Nine/Yang in the Third: "You're now at a leveled playing field. Beyond favourable or unfavourable."
Second Line - Nine/Yang in the Second: "You are on the path now. Be sincere. An Equivalent exchange is required for this to work."
Base Line - Six/Yin at the Beginning: "You are in safe hands, though you may not know why."
