Sam Childers, is better known as the Machine Gun Preacher.
Childers life is the basis of a movie starring Gerard Butler. It centers around his transition from a drug-dealing biker to a man who found God and turned his focus to rescuing kids in some of Africa's most dangerous areas.
Sam believes that whoever hears his story will have hope for their life, "If they just take a little bit of that story in,” he said. “Just look deep into my story, if God can change me and use me... Imagine what he can do for you."

Founder of City Women Toowoomba, Letitia is sold out to making her city a better place for girls and women. For the last 25 years, she has worked closely with teenage girls. She coordinates City Women, which is an umbrella organisation for 15 ministries that are reaching out into the city to help women and girls. City Women seeks to mobilise women from all different churches to work together to reach the city and heal the pain. City Women continues to expand into other cities & towns, including the Gold Coast, Illawarra, Caboolture, Liverpool, Townsville, and other regional towns. In 2016 Letitia launched The City Free From Porn campaign with her Mayor Paul Antonio. This campaign seeks to raise awareness & education about the harms of porn. She has authored several books including “Still Fighting for Our Daughters”, “The Little Handbook of Disruptive Women” & most recently “Disruptive City Women.” Letitia is passionate and will certainly stir you to take responsibility for your city and make a difference.

Grethe Stanley is the Founder of Daughters of the King Conferences & co-founder of DOK Global

I love life and I am passionate about my family and my faith in Christ.  I love motivating women to become all that they were created to be.  I am a great believer in the power of the spoken word, we can either create something positive or we can create something negative by the words we use.

I keep fit by walking and doing aqua aerobics. I like fashion, good food, good wine, dark chocolate and meeting with friends.

My Late husband Andrew and I have five grown-up children, 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.  I live on the Sunshine Coast of Australia with my delightful cat, Buttercup.

Gretha is one of our Global Impact Partners who are still actively engaged with mission even though she is in her 70s.

Grethe lived with her husband Andrew in Eastern Europe from 2004 to 2012 where their main purpose was to bring reconciliation between the Christian Pastors and Leaders of the States of former Yugoslavia.
Grethe had felt in her heart before she left Australia to start a conference for women in that region. When they arrived they found that women were very oppressed and there was nothing in the churches specifically for women. 
While God was using the Reconciliation Gathering powerfully to write a new chapter for His Church in the Balkans region,  Grethe organised the first "Daughters of the King" (DOK) conference in 2007 which became an annual event. 
Daughters of the King has had a profound impact amongst women in the Balkans over the ensuing years expanding to encompass mini-conferences in Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Croatia and annual events in Bulgaria and Myanmar.
Recently, with overseas travel suspended, Grethe has supported local women who are stepping up to lead and she has expanded Daughters of the King through online ministry so that, at the beginning of 2021, there were over 4000 followers from 79 different nations.

Tamara is a wife, a mum to two kids, a full-time Pastor, and a prophetic artist. She loves to encourage and champion people into all God has for them and to share God’s love with those He brings across her path. Tamara enjoys pastoring at Hope Community Church and also training and equipping a team of prophetic artists who minister to God’s heart through art. Berni's journey in life started in the UK, marrying Tim and emigrating to Australia in 1999. Together they had a passion and purpose to make a difference in people's lives by empowering the strengths of others and guiding them in their journeys.

They moved to the Sunshine Coast 8 years ago where Tim trained to be a teacher and where they now live. They have 2 amazing sons 19 and 18. Tragically 3 years ago Tim passed away after a terminal illness that rocked their lives, their faith, and everything in their world.

Berni's journey of faith and determination is remarkable. Tim left a legacy through his work with walkawhile.org, helping build social enterprises with a remote indigenous community west of Alice Springs. This legacy has been a blessing to Berni. Berni and her family are committed to helping this community in any way they can and continues to fundraise for them to reach their goals.

They have walked through the "valley of death" as she calls it. She describes the deep loss as falling onto rocks and being grazed, bruised, and then grazed again and again.

Despite this she has felt a calling to help other women in their journey; young, old, single, married, widowed, and divorced to find their self-worth, identity, and joy in the depths of despair. Berni wants to help them find ridiculous restoration by trusting in God and knowing that in the toughest, most impossible, times He can bring fun, joy, and adventures that can help and restore your soul and enable living life to the full even in loss.

She has been blessed with new friendships that have helped her discover the joy of creation, being in nature, and taking people on adventures out of their comfort zone to build hope and belief in themselves. Berni's adventures are only just beginning from the rawness and reality of her heart.

Melanie Menzel has been grooving with her feet since the day she was born and right from a little girl has been exploring different types of movement such as ballet, contemporary, jazz & hip hop with hip hop being the style that really makes her come alive inside and out.

Yeppoon in central Queensland is where Mel and her Husband Mark are based. Having been married for over 17 years they lived in Toowoomba and on the Sunshine Coast prior to moving to the island-filled region on the Capricorn coast. If you can’t find Mel and Mark anywhere they will be on a secluded beach, hiking, soaking up rays, and generally dropping off the radar and into nature while recharging with some hip hop beats!

Mel’s passion as a dancer is for every person she teaches to know and feel that they can move confidently and be creative just as they are, helping people understand that dance is more than just moving body parts for an audience’s visual pleasure. Her aim when teaching is to help people experience dance as a movement from the heart that takes them on an expressive journey of emotions and creative release inexpressible through any other form. As the founder of the dance and creative arts company Relentless179, Mel coaches dancers on how to tell stories & parables, taking people on a journey to know the awareness of His presence and dance for an audience of One.

Having taken her dance style all over the world to places like the Philippines, Eastern Europe, Asia, and Ethiopia, Mel’s cultural influences and love for people drive her to help people shine through movement and become all they are created to be.
