This is a new song from the new album, "Truth Be Told". The song is written about a very personal experience I just went through with a narcissistic relationship I stayed in for far too long.

The word Lion is a double meaning... "Paint me a lion son... meant to sound like paint me a liar, son." And the lion, referencing the infamous Bob Marleyism, the Lion of Zion, a focalpoint of the sociopath I had the pleasure of learning my latest lesson from. This song is the anthem for anyone that's been gas lit and made to feel like a crazy person. You're perfectly fine, it's their sickness and you're just in the road to their five minutes of fame.
