Carl and Mike come back with some brief football talk as they share thoughts on the HOF game and discuss the performance of Trey Lance and ask why the Chargers QB's outing is what he needs to continue to do in preseason to increase his value in the event a team wants to trade for him.. They then share some thoughts on the Braves win over the Reds and agree that while it was good the team was able to get the win, at this point in the season, they believe it is better for Braves' players to show progress towards next season versus the wins at this point.
