Suffering has a way of bringing out what you really truly hope in. For the suffering church it has been the occasion in which they bring out to the World the hope of everlasting life through the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

As Christ sat down to instruct his disciples on matters of the Times of the end he gave them instruction that applied to them and to the church at any time during this age.

As revival is to the church so the baptism of the Holy Spirit is to the individual. It is not to be assumed but sought after. It is fullness of Spirit promised and poured out by God but we must wait for it... and in waiting want it, need it, expect it and plan for it.

How does the baptism of the Holy Spirit register in the life of the one upon which is falls- Well it looks like inebriation or a open hearted liberty.

The Holy Spirit's bring a work in His baptism that we experience. We experience through the Spirit the presence of Christ and now consider we are also to experience His power.

In the upper room the Lord Jesus taught His disciples that the Holy Spirit was to be experienced ad He taught them what would be the central experience of the Holy Spirit.

From Scripture Nicodemus should have known the need and possibility of regeneration. Now Jesus teaches him that the Holy Spirit validates the Messiah as the access point for that new birth. Consider how the Holy Spirit validates the Messiah.

Jesus, in John 3, scolds Nicodemus for being the teacher in Israel and not knowing about the New Birth. What was it that Nicodemus should have known-
