What has the Church been praying every December 17th-23rd since the eighth century? The O Antiphons—seven prayers, full of prophetic titles and Old Testament imagery of the Messiah, Jesus the Christ. Plus! From first to last, they climb climatically through salvation history. Listen as Richaél Lucero delves into the hopeful anticipation of the O Antiphons. You'll also get some pointers to help you lean into them this Advent and a free downloadable sheet. SHOW NOTES: —DONATE! This week on Off the Shelf we take a deep dive look at the history of feminism. My friend Kimberly Cook joins me to discuss how the feminism movement impacted her and our country at large. Grab a copy of her book Motherhood Redeemed: How Radical Feminism Betrayed Maternal Love here.

Apologist and author Troy joins me to discuss one of the Solas of the Protestant Reformation.  The topic is Sola Scriptura, and we discuss what it is, what it entails, and why in the end it just is not feasible.

Troy gives us several reasons why and it is a good discussion to learn more about why the catholic Church is the church that Christ established.  Learn more about Troy and his amazing ministry at www.discoverhischurch.com.

Catholic author and speaker Brandon McGinley talks with Bill Snyder about his latest book, It Is Right and Just: Why the Future of Civilization Depends on True Religion, which he co-authored with Dr. Scott Hahn. For more information about Brandon visit brandonmcginley.com
