El poder sobrenatural de los Sacramentos conquista al mal cada vez que los tomamos con seriedad y confiamos en las gracias que nos dan.

What is the intimate relationship between Mary and the Holy Spirit? Both St. Maximilian Kolbe and Matthias Scheeben speak of Mary as the “spouse of the Spirit.” In contemplating the mysteries of the faith, the Church continues to go deeper into her understanding of God’s plan. On this episode of The Road to Emmaus, Scott Hahn reminds us that the mystery of God and His creation is inexhaustible.

One of the most influential saints of the 20th century was Maximilian Kolbe, who not only lived the gospel message by laying down his life for his brother, but also began one of the most powerful Marian movements today, the Militia of the Immaculata. In this episode, Scott Hahn talks about his personal devotion to St. Maximilian Kolbe.

Steve Ray joins me this week to discuss the Blessed Virgin Mary. We discuss many things such as what he thought of Mary as an evangelical, the various Marian dogmas such as her perpetual virginity and the title of Mother of God. We also discuss the title of Queen of Heaven, and the various biblical texts that support the Catholic position. It is an enlightening interview, and as always, Steve provides great evidence backed by scripture and history. Below are some recent blog posts that Steve wrote on the topic:
