Everyone wants to work for a company that has a great culture. Everyone wants to live in a world where peace and love are the norm. But realizing these desires takes work, and it is up to us. Everything we ever have succeeded at in our lives, from walking to riding a bike to making and delivering products and services, has been the result of failing and trying again. A former Major League Baseball umpire, having worked in the American League for 25 years and been involved in four World Series. He went on to be a MLB Supervisor for eight years. He was raised Catholic and is also a veteran, having spent four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. In high school he played baseball and did some boxing, getting two baseball scholarship offers for college. He also coached high school baseball. Wait for his big revelation near the end of the interview!

This is an amazing time for the entire world. Even amid the hardship of the COVID-19 pandemic, despite the illness, isolation, and fear, we have much for which we can be grateful. In this present time, we have access to technology that didn’t exist in previous eras, and we have the ability to use that technology to reach out to others. If we take these small opportunities and truly be Christian in all of our interactions, we can do a great deal of good and lift the hearts of many, many people without even going out of our way. Our world is suffering, and we can help to abate that suffering with godly words and gestures. This is an amazing time for the entire world and COVID-19 could be our best chance ever to evangelize.
