Rev. 3:14 “And to the angel of the church of the
Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the
Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation
of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold
nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then,
because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I
will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I
am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of
nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched,
miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to
buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be
rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that
the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and
anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As
many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be
zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and
knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I
will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on
My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My
Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him
hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Verse 18 Buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you
may be rich;
1. Psalm 19:7-11 The law of the LORD is perfect,
converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is
sure, making wise the simple; 8 The statutes of the
LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The
commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening
the eyes; 9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring
forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and
righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are
they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter
also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover
by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping
them there is great reward.
2. Psalm 119:127 Therefore I love Your
commandments More than gold, yes, than fine
gold!
3. Prov 8:17-21 I love those who love me, And those
who seek me diligently will find me. 18 Riches and
honor are with me, Enduring riches and
righteousness. 19 My fruit is better than gold, yes,
than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver.
20 I traverse the way of righteousness, In the
midst of the paths of justice, 21 That I may cause
those who love me to inherit wealth, That I may fill
their treasuries.
4. Prov 3:13-18 Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding; 14 For her
proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And
her gain than fine gold. 15 She is more precious

than rubies, And all the things you may desire
cannot compare with her. 16 Length of days is in
her right hand, In her left hand riches and honor.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her
paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to those
who take hold of her, And happy are all who retain
her.

6. Prov 16:16 How much better to get wisdom than
gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen
rather than silver.
It may not be easy to get into the Word of God. To lay up
for yourself treasures in heaven. To seek first the
kingdom of God. To be a doer of the Word of God.
But it pays!!
