What is God’s will concerning healing?
Ex. 15 “I am the Lord who heals you” Jehovah Rapha
Psalm 103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is
within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my
soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all
your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who
redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you
with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies
your mouth with good things, So that your youth is
renewed like the eagle’s.
Heb 1:3 describes Jesus as God’s “express image”
John 5:19 “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do
nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for
whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do
My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
John 12:49 For I have not spoken on My own authority;
but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I
should say and what I should speak. 50 And I know that
His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I
speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
Matt 8 - The first 16 verses:
1. Verse 1 When He had come down from the
mountain, great multitudes followed Him. 2 And
behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying,
“Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” 3
Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him,
saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his
leprosy was cleansed.
2. Verse 5 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum,
a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, 6
saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home
paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” 7 And Jesus said
to him, “I will come and heal him.”
3. Verse 14 Now when Jesus had come into Peter’s
house, He saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a
fever. 15 So He touched her hand, and the fever
left her.
4. Verse 16 When evening had come, they brought
to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He
cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who
were sick,
