"Life Is Hard, Then You Die" This is not a message of hopelessness but a call to accept the trials of life and respond with joy because life is too short to be overcome with bitterness and discontent. 

In this episode we are joined by Michael, a boomer. He walks us through some of his experiences with those who came before him and his current perspective and folks like us, those who have come after.

Mike had mentioned “when I was a kid, I didn’t try to understand my parents or the younger kids. I just did it my way.”

The Boomer generation uses the phrase: “Oh that’s not the way to do it.” “This is how we’ve always done it.” “This is how I would do it.”  It’s interesting when younger generations try to do something different they come up against this phrase from the Boomers about not doing it their way anytime we try to do it differently.

"OK Boomer", is a common phrase shared among the younger generation who believe the ideals of those above 58 (or really anyone perceived as old) are archaic or insensitive.  Is the voice of a boomer outdated? Is it time for the next generation to take the wheel? This week we explore our experiences with the older generation and how it may not be so simple.
