I heard about study done on two groups of people - one resisting cookies and the other group told to eat as many as they wanted.

The study was fascinating about how human will power is SHORT FUSED!

We NEED Gods willpower in our life to SLAY EVERY giant and CRUSH every trial thrown our way!

Living with an eternal perspective shifts our FOCUS to LIVING intentionally on sharing Gods LOVE with others.

We KNOW ultimately this is ALL that matters.

Today, I prayed over the areas of my life that are NOT best representing Jesus in my life and for God to instruct, correct and guide EVERY area of my life to HIS WAY.

Paul is writing to the church about forgiving a man that caused severe damage in the church.

He shares about the fragrance we must give off - the fragrance of Jesus. We BLOCK this aroma with bitterness, unforgiveness, anger, jealousy and pride.

Our aroma is either life-giving or draining those around us.

What fragrance do you give off in your life?

When others come into your presence without you saying ONE word, what does your aroma give off?

Let’s live in such a way that Gods fragrance would fill rooms, arenas, stadiums and THIS WORLD!

Paul and Barnabas are great leaders in the church, God speaks to them and the church that God is setting them apart for a GREATER MISSION.

They fast and pray over the men and immediately are sent OUT to share the gospel!

They encounter a sorcerer and Paul with the power of the Holy Spirit speaks BOLDLY and causes the man to go blind! This act then causes the GOVERNOR to BELIEVE IN JESUS!

Set Apart.

The sacrifice.

Willing to be BOLD.

To face giants.

To slay dragons.

To fight the good fight of faith…

You have to be willing to LAY IT ALL DOWN to PICK UP ALL God desires to do THROUGH YOU.

Take CAPTIVE EVERY THOUGHT!

Captive like a prisoner of war.

Demanding every thought in submission to the authority of God. Daily disciplining my mind to align with Gods thoughts and TRUTH.

If we don’t do this DAILY, our mind and hearts will wander and start to believe the LIES of the enemy.

Take authority over your thoughts and DEMAND them to be aligned and ANCHORED in Gods TRUTH.

God asked Nehemiah to build a wall - his enemies did NOT want this.

They used intimidation, false accusations and lies to get Nehemiah to QUIT.

Each time this happened, Nehemiah would use Godly discernment on whether it was TRUTH or LIES.

I break down each LESSON we can learn from this great leader.

Godly discernment is knowing what’s RIGHT and ALMOST RIGHT.

In this episode God spoke to my heart about how it’s NOT all of sudden.

It’s a DRIFT.

A daily drift in allowing distractions to take over WHAT God has for us.

Dimas the drifter.

Dimas was part of Paul’s ministry. I share several verses where he is mentioned and then, in 2 Timothy 4:10 Paul writes to the church “that because Dimas loved the world he has deserted me and the ministry. “

Dimas missed being the 5th book. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John … Dimas.

Because of his DRIFT and allowing the IDOLS of the world distract him from the call - he missed being in the BIBLE and writing of his own story of what he witnessed as a fellow believer.
