Emery O'Leary is a Producer, Director and Screenwriter. Emery's projects include a short about the Modoc War that occurred during the 1870's in California. Also known as the Lava Bed War, the US military closed on Indians and began a conflict that quickly became a problem. Eadweard Muybridge photographed much of the conflict. The experiences of the Modoc and Military were captured in a screenplay written by Emery. Emery is from Lovely Benicia. He's a graduate of Benicia High School. That means Pete A Turner is going to work to lift up O'Leary's work. Further, Emery and Pete are efforting some of Pete's favorite projects. David Eubank returns to the Break It Down Show with Pete A Turner. David is a former Green Beret who's post service work focuses on providing aid in conflict zones. He and his Free Burma Rangers have focused on war relief in Syria, Burma, Ukraine...basically, anywhere where there is a need, FBR goes to help. The bulk of David's mission is conducted in Burma. But, FBR ran to Afghanistan when it fell, and they'll continue to venture out where help is needed. Even if the war isn't frontline news, FBR is working to reduce harm and render aid.

Our pal Dave Raetz has brought a number of other naturalist guests to the show. When we stop and look around at nature, we're all struck with wonder. The land around us is alive. John Kiriakou knows from personal experience what it’s like to be imprisoned when you shouldn’t be. He was a CIA analyst and case officer from 1990 to 2004. In December 2007, John was the first former CIA officer to confirm that the CIA indeed waterboarded prisoners and had a torture program – approved at the highest levels of our government. As a result, Kiriakou spent eighteen months in federal prison – despite the fact that he never tortured anyone. John's background coupled with Pete A Turner's experience in the field ought to give us a fantastic episode with notes and experiences shared at the professional level. John Spencer returns to the Break It Down Show with Pete A Turner to discuss his latest findings during a recent trip to Israel. When Hamas launched a terrorist attack targeting a music festival in Israel John began traveling to the region to study in real time the evolution of urban warfare. Since John is a universally regarded expert/historian/academic in the modern war space, he gets unique access to the battleground and leaders from the region.
