Dream Dynasty - With lyrical content no deeper than a baby pool, Kiss relies on the fantastic mix of smashing hooks, Kabuki flash, and groovy 4 on the floor disco beats as it takes on 80's icon the Eurythmics. Dave and Annie combine powerhouse vocals and synth sequences in their Sweet Dreams album to take on KISS, Dynasty.

Twitter Ban - Peter Van Buren is a friend of the show. He and Pete worked together on the same projects in Baghdad during Peter's State Department tour in Iraq. Peter became a whistleblower when he wrote his book, "We Mean Well." The DoS came after him, censoring him and his book. Now, Twitter has decided to ban Mr. Van Buren permanently because of his candor.

We can guess about who reported Peter, and which tweet which was the offense...but that'd involve Twitter being transparent; which they aren't.

First Ladies Man - Today we feature author Andrew Och the "First Ladies Man." Andrew made his name by covering the history of the First Ladies of the United States for C-SPAN. His shows cover his exploration of the history of the wives (sometimes) of US Presidents. 

His book, published by our friends and Tactical 16, is full of wonderful stories. Andrew, Jon and Pete dig in an get into the impossible lives of these incredible ladies.

C.C. Love - In celebration of his new album One Love, recording artist Cornell C.C. Carter stopped by Sunset View Studios to talk with Jon about the process.  He brought producer Kirk Crumpler, and bassist and our collective musical sage Dave Agent along and the good time ensued.  Listen in as they discuss the origins of their work together, how their roles in each other's musical lives has evolved, and how the Break It Down Show played a part in Dave's appearance on this album.

When things went from bad to worse...she stopped, cleaned house, re-oriented on positive affirmations and wrote her way clear of the the troubles in her life. 4 Books later, she's helping others do the same, empowered, shining and fabulous, here's Janette.

High Five - Pam Saulsby is a Tactical 16 author. Her book Ashley's High Five for Daddy hits close to home. Per Pete, "If I had this book 10 years ago, I could have helped my daughter better understand how we both were dealing with my PTSD." 

In this episode we cover Pam's inspiration, and through Pete's experiences, how right she was to write this fantastic kid's book.

Pole Flier - Today we've got pilot Robert DeLaurentis. Robert is endeavoring to fly around the world, via the S. and N. poles. In terms of his plane, this type of flight has never been done. He'll turn his plane into a flying gas can, gas fills the seat where the co-pilot sits, the bathroom is full of gas, aviation fuel, not the other kind. Robert's mission is much more than breaking records, he's creating unity, oneness and connections. Hat tip to Phil Green for co-hosting. Secret guest David West too.

Art3mis Prime returns to talk about her new EP Algorithm and Blues, which is available for free on YouTube.  She discusses her process for capturing this record and releasing it to the world with no expectation besides absorption.  She is performing this Saturday at the Apple Store on Union Square in San Francisco as part of their Today At Apple artist series, and everyone should go.  Jon will moderate the Q&A directly afterward.
