Trying harder can feel holy right up until it crushes you. Today we open Colossians 2 and talk candidly about the pressure many Christians carry after coming to faith: the quiet belief that you’re saved by grace but maintained by grind. We trace Paul’s roadmap through the chapter and camp out on a line that refuses to let spiritual life become a treadmill: “As you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him.”
