And so it is that we reach Part One of The Two Towers, and in this episode we talk a lot more about the movies than the book. We shower the cast of the movie with praise, we discuss the new additions to the storyline - Rohan and the Ents - and we move into what would now be considered the "Epic" part of the story. Plus, multiple stories of how Viggo Mortenson risking his body (and his life) for art.

Here we are at our third episode on The Simpsons and Futurama, and today we discuss The Simpsons specifically.

This episode starts with a discussion of side characters, special guests and favourite episodes, but as usual we end up quoting the best parts of the series.

Ben joins us again (yes, on the shit microphone. Sorry Ben) but we are moving toward an end point for this series... even if we don't know where that is.

Today we finish the Fellowship of The Ring (and technically start The Two Towers) and discuss all of the elements that start the "epic" nature of The Lord of The Rings.

Shocking deaths, betrayals in the Fellowship, Wizard-Vs-Demon battles and Fell-Beasts going out like punks; we discuss it all, as well as the more tedious stuff like Elven family trees, location breakdowns and teases of things to come.

We discuss Tolkien's decision to lean completely into his own mythology to create a far more elaborate sequel to The Hobbit than anyone had ever anticipated.

Included in today's discussion are: the far more extended timeline compared to the movies, the omission of Tom Bombadil, Goldberry and Glorfindel, and the extensive backstory Tolkien created that fed this storyline.

It's our final episode on the Chronicles of Narnia, and in this episode we discuss the last battle in... well, The Last Battle.

We go over the confusing end of Narnia and the conclusion of the 7 book series, paying specific attention to the the somewhat brutal attitude of multiple characters, the alarming fate of almost every main character in the whole series, and, of course, the awful treatment of Susan.
