Simone has his roots in Italy, but his passion for languages has taken him across the world, including meaningful years in Germany and Austria, where he immersed himself deeply in local cultures and dialects. Now based in Montevideo, he continues exploring linguistic diversity and has personally dived into more than ten languages.

He’s the creator and host of the Simple Italian Podcast, a go-to resource for Italian learners, and shares insights on language learning and self-study on YouTube. Through his mentoring platform, Neurolanguage Engineering, Simone helps students learn Italian efficiently using a practical, neuroscience-based approach.

Piotr Cios, born and raised in Poland. After graduating from Applied Linguistics (English and German) at the University of Warsaw, he moved to the Netherlands to immerse in the Dutch language. Since 2016 he has lived in Portugal, where he has worked in various language-related fields. Currently self-studying Hungarian and Greek. His favourite areas of linguistics are semantics, phonetics and psycholinguistics.
