Welcome to the 311th episode of the Breakfast With Tiffany Show!
In this special episode, Tiffany is joined by not one, but two inspiring guests. D Dangaran and Henry Jeanneret, a transgender couple whose story is filled with love, resilience, and hope.
The conversation begins with a heartfelt look into their relationship, exploring how they met, what everyday life looks like as a couple, and the experiences that have shaped their journey together. Through honest and personal conversations, listeners are invited to connect with them beyond labels and discover the people behind their advocacy.
In the second half of the episode, the discussion shifts to a broader conversation about LGBTQ+ representation in mainstream media. Tiffany, D, and Henry explore why authentic stories matter, compare the current landscape for LGBTQ+ communities in Japan and the United States, and reflect on the power of visibility in creating greater understanding and social change.
Whether you're looking for an uplifting love story or a thoughtful conversation about representation and equality, this episode offers both warmth and meaningful insight.

Mx. D Dangaran is an assistant professor of law at the University of Hawai‘i Manoa William S. Richardson School of Law. They serve as the co-chair of the National Trans Bar Association. In 2024, they were named one of the Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40 by the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association.
Before teaching, Mx. Dangaran was the Director of Gender Justice at Rights Behind Bars, where they argued numerous federal appeals and trial matters, specializing in using litigation and other advocacy to help incarcerated trans people access necessary gender-affirming care. They are a first-generation college graduate of Yale University and received their J.D. from Harvard Law School, where they were an articles editor on the Harvard Law Review. They clerked on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
