En: The sun's rays shimmered on the surface of Blejsko jezero (Lake Bled).
Sl: Majhni valovi so pljuskali ob obalo.
En: Small waves splashed against the shore.
Sl: V Zlati Pekarni, ki je bila skrita med starimi kostanji, pa je Anže že zgodaj zjutraj zamesil testo.
En: In the Zlata Pekarna (Golden Bakery), which was tucked away among the old chestnut trees, Anže had already kneaded the dough early in the morning.
Sl: Bio je resna mladenič s sanjami.
En: He was a serious young man with dreams.
Sl: Želel je nekoč imeti svojo pekarno.
En: He wanted to have his own bakery someday.
Sl: Maja, lastnica pekarne, je stala za pultom in opazovala Anžeta.

En: After much careful thought, on a hot weekend, while the bakery was full of tourists and locals, Anže summoned the courage.
Sl: "Maja, danes imam nekaj posebnega za naše goste," je z rahlo tresočim glasom rekel ter izpod mize potegnil pladenj z dišečimi pecivi.
En: "Maja, today I have something special for our guests," he said with a slightly trembling voice and pulled out a tray of fragrant pastries from under the table.
Sl: Bilo je nekaj povsem novega – preplet okusov jagod, medu in mandljev z rahlim pridihom cimeta.
En: It was something entirely new—a blend of strawberry, honey, and almond flavors with a hint of cinnamon.
Sl: Maja je najprej oklevala, nato pa le dovolila, da Anže ponudi svoje pregrehe obiskovalcem.

Sl: Gostje so sprva s presenečenjem, nato pa z navdušenjem preizkusili njegove dobrote.
