COVID-19 has devastated our nation.  Long Island residents continue to need assistance, some for the very first time.   Through our Emergency Response and Recovery Program, individuals and families can obtain the food they need.  

It’s critical that we provide coordinated services, flexible program models, compassion and advocacy for a population that sometimes feels helpless to effect change.

Hope for the Homeless focuses on the often "invisible" homeless population and their specific needs.  This program provides housing information, housing referrals, ready-to-eat emergency food and personal hygiene items.

What is Trade Mitigation and how can it affect our nations food banks?

Long Island is home to the 2nd largest concentration of veterans in the United States.    Joseph P. Dwyer Veterans Peer Support Project centers around Veterans helping Veterans.  This project is inspired and named after Joseph P. Dwyer, an Army Medic that selflessly sacrificed for those that needed a helping hand.
