I had the honour and pleasure to talk to travel journalist, documentary maker and broadcaster, Ash Bhardwaj.

Our main topic of discussion was based on how South Asian travellers, journalists, and content creators can be seen and heard more in the media. We discussed what obstacles are being faced and the short-term and long-term solutions to improve South Asian diversity within the sector. 

Ash and I also discussed how he first got into writing and journalism. And what was it that made him stand out? We also discussed him being a multi-media journalist.

We also discussed the state of journalism today and where it is heading in the future.

I also discussed what his plans are in the coming months and the near future.

I also talked to Ash about what it was like to travel during the pandemic and whether it was all worth it.

A thoroughly fascinating discussion. A lot to take from our talk.
