Takeaways

Forgiveness is essential for healing and requires understanding.  Forgiveness is about freeing oneself from past pain.  Understanding others' pain can lead to greater empathy and, ultimately, forgiveness. Compassion is the key to true forgiveness.

Every part of us, even the suppressed ones, is worthy of love. There's something profound inside that I must touch. Writing can be cathartic and help us process emotions.

Projection is a defense mechanism that prevents self-awareness. Empathy allows us to release pain and connect with others.

"We are becoming cycle breakers."
