Patrice Lovely is starring in Tyler Perry's BOO! A MADEA HALLOWEEN, opens October 21. She currently stars in Tyler Perry's LOVE THY NEIGHBOR on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. Patrice began her career as a ringmaster for the UniverSoul Circus as Mrs. Mabelle. In 2011 she debuted on stage for A Madea's Christmas, she would go on to do several other shows including fan favorite I Don't Want to Do Wrong. Lovely has recorded two gospel albums, Glory Road and Seven Days. Patrice has played the iconic character Hattie in several Tyler Perry films including: A MADEA CHRISTMAS, MADEA GETS A JOB, I DON'T WANT TO DO WRONG, HELL HAVE NO FURY LIKE A WOMAN SCORN, and THE HAVES AND HAVE NOTS.
